Smart Lamp in Suryacipta City of Industry, Sustainable Development to Improve Tenant Security and Comfort

Suryacipta & Iot Kreasi Indonesia

PT Suryacipta Swadaya (Suryacipta), a leading developer and manager of industrial estates in West Java, has partnered with PT IoT Kreasi Indonesia to implement a Managed Service Smart Lamp system. This agreement focuses on upgrading public street lighting in Phase 3 of Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang.

The collaboration was officially sealed on November 3, 2023, at Gran Melia, Jakarta. The signing ceremony was attended by Wilson Effendy, Vice President Director of Suryacipta; Hudaya Arryanto, Managing Director of Suryacipta; and Aldi Kurniawan, President Director of PT IoT Kreasi Indonesia.

Implementing smart lamps within the industrial estate is a key part of Suryacipta’s commitment to sustainable development. These Internet of Things (IoT)-based street lighting systems offer multiple benefits, significantly enhancing security, comfort, efficiency, and environmental friendliness across the estate. Beyond that, smart lamps also play a vital role in supporting broader smart city initiatives.

For tenants and their workers within Suryacipta City of Industry, smart lamps offer several advantages:

  • Improve security
The smart lamp can be controlled remotely via the dashboard. This makes it easier for Suryacipta to monitor and carry out repairs, should a problem occur.
  • Increases comfort
The brightness level on the smart lamp can be adjusted according to the needs even more optimally, so that it can increase visibility on the road.
  • Efficiency
Monitoring electrical energy consumption and electrical power leak.

“We hope that every program implemented in Suryacipta City of Industry can be beneficial for tenants, especially by supporting their business operations,” said Binawati Dewi, Head of Sales & Tenant Relations at Suryacipta. She added, “Smart lamps will also be implemented within our other project, namely ‘Subang Smartpolitan’ – in an even more comprehensive manner.”

Subang Smartpolitan is an integrated township designed with a “smart, green, and sustainable” concept. It offers industrial and commercial land plots, currently attracting tenants from the electronics industry. This strategically located estate will be directly connected to Patimban Seaport via the Patimban Access Toll Road, is close to Kertajati International Airport, and has direct access to the Trans Java Toll Road.
