West Java Infrastructure Update 2026: Connecting Subang Smartpolitan and Patimban Seaport

As West Java continues to strengthen its industrial and logistics infrastructure, connectivity is becoming increasingly important for manufacturing and logistics businesses. This was the focus of “West Java Infrastructure Update: Subang Smartpolitan & Patimban Seaport 2026,” held on 30 September 2026 and attended by Suryacipta tenants, as well as stakeholders from the logistics, warehousing, and shipping sectors. The industry-focused event was designed to provide broader insights into Subang Smartpolitan, regional logistics developments, and connectivity to Patimban Seaport.

Held by Suryacipta in collaboration with PT Patimban Global Gateway Terminal (PGT) and PT Patimban International Car Terminal (PICT), the program combined presentations, Q&A sessions, and site visits. Participants received an update on Subang Smartpolitan, toured the industrial estate, and visited Patimban Seaport to explore its automotive and container terminals.

A key update was the Temporary Cipeundeuy Toll Access, directly connecting the Cipali Toll Road to Subang Smartpolitan and improving logistics access toward Patimban. In the near future, connectivity to Patimban will be further strengthened by the Patimban Access Toll Road, currently under construction, which will connect the Cipali Toll Road with Patimban Seaport.

At Patimban Seaport, PICT operates the automotive terminal, which is currently being expanded to a 690-meter berth and an annual capacity of up to 800,000 vehicles. The expanded facility is expected to begin operations in October 2026, supporting domestic distribution and international vehicle movements. Meanwhile, PGT operates the container terminal, with an ultimate capacity of 3.75 million TEUs per year, further strengthening Patimban’s role in West Java’s logistics network.

Together, these developments are shaping a more connected industrial and logistics corridor in northern West Java, linking Subang Smartpolitan with the Cipali highway network and Patimban Seaport. For manufacturing businesses, improved accessibility, port capacity, and logistics connections can support greater logistics efficiency and smoother movement of goods. Through this progress, Suryacipta looks forward to seeing stronger connectivity and infrastructure continue to support the growth of industrial ecosystem in the region.
