In line with its efforts to expand its marketing network in Japan, PT Suryacipta Swadaya (Suryacipta) – a subsidiary of PT Surya Semesta Internusa (SSIA Group) – is actively participating in a series of World Expo 2025 Osaka events. This includes being a speaker at the Business Forum titled “Regional Infrastructure Investment Opportunities for Economic Transformation: Bali, Riau Islands, & West Java” on Thursday, May 22, 2025, and participating in the Rolling Exhibition at the Indonesia Pavilion of World Expo 2025 Osaka.
In her presentation at the Business Forum, attended by Japanese business players and investors, Binawati Dewi, General Manager of Sales & Tenant Relations at Suryacipta, highlighted the advantages of Subang Smartpolitan. She also comprehensively explained the abundant infrastructure and resource opportunities present in West Java, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing and commercial sectors. This presentation is expected to provide a clear and beneficial overview for participants regarding the prospects of Indonesia’s investment climate, especially in West Java.
As is widely known, West Java’s investment performance continues to show a positive and significant trend. Based on data from the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry, West Java has consistently been the province with the highest realized investment value in Indonesia. In 2024, West Java successfully attracted investments totaling IDR 251.1 trillion, with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) contributing USD 10 billion and Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) contributing IDR 101.5 trillion.
These achievements have led to the absorption of over 2.4 million jobs nationally. These figures also indicate investor confidence in West Java’s economic stability and growth potential, thereby strengthening the province’s attractiveness as a strategic destination for long-term investment.
Suryacipta’s participation in this Business Forum and Rolling Exhibition is an integral part of its efforts to support the promotion program for investment opportunities in West Java, while also introducing Subang Smartpolitan as one of the province’s priority projects. West Java is now attracting investments not only in traditional industrial sectors but also in innovative fields such as high-tech manufacturing, renewable energy, data centers, and smart and sustainable mobility.
Furthermore, this participation is also an opportunity for Suryacipta to contribute to strengthening Indonesia’s position as an attractive investment destination in the eyes of global investors. Binawati Dewi stated, “Through these efforts, we hope to contribute to attracting more foreign direct investment into strategic sectors in West Java, and more broadly, for the Indonesian economy.” Suryacipta is committed to providing a conducive and strategic investment destination to support the sustainable growth of the national investment climate.
