PT Suryacipta Swadaya (Suryacipta), a subsidiary of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), signed a cooperation agreement with Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi) to prepare a set of comprehensive preliminary studies on an education center in Subang Smartpolitan. This cooperation agreement was signed by Wilson Effendy as Vice President Director and Hudaya Arryanto Sumadhija as Managing Director of PT Suryacipta Swadaya and Dr. Henry Heng as CEO of Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi) on August 31st, 2022.
Wilson Effendy, the Vice President Director of PT Suryacipta Swadaya said, “This agreement is manifested from one of the Subang Smartpolitan’s founding pillars, which is Education and Innovation. It is aimed to pioneer a world-class talent pool of hands-on industrial workers in the region and nationwide”.
The agreement is comprised of a fact-finding assessment on the training needs for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and will potentially extended to curriculum development for on-demand trainings and extensive courses.
Dr. Henry Heng, the Chief Executive of Nanyang Polytechnic International said, “Nanyang Polytechnic International is happy to be part of this exciting endeavor to study the manpower need of Subang Smartpolitan. We have collaborated with many external jurisdictions to study their industrial parks’ manpower needs as well as supporting them directly in building world-class technical and vocational educational institutions in their industrial parks, producing graduates that directly supply skilled manpower for the parks. We are therefore most delighted to share our experience and expertise in this area, and work with Suryacipta in fulfilling their vision of developing the Subang Smartpolitan”.
This collaboration is also in line with the vision of Suryacipta’s holding company, PT Surya Semesta Internusa (SSIA) Tbk, with its vision “Building a Better Indonesia”. The company believes that education and innovation are inseparable with the development of Subang Smartpolitan. The development plan of Education Center in Subang Smartpolitan is the key to robust development and innovation for surrounding industries, at the same time the answer to the complexity of manpower needs for future industries and enterprises.
