Logistics Capacity Expansion: Nissho Solution Inaugurates Phase 2 Warehouse Amidst National Logistics Sector Growth

Logistic capacity expansion

PT Nissho Solution Indonesia (Nissho Solution) officially inaugurated its Phase 2 Warehouse at Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang on 29 October 2025. This significant expansion clearly signals the rapid growth of the logistics sector, particularly within the West Java region, and is specifically aimed at meeting the increasing demand from the automotive industry.

Nissho Solution’s expansion aligns with the robust investment realization trends in the logistics sector, positioning it as a key pillar of the national economy. According to data from the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/BKPM, the Transportation, Warehousing, and Telecommunications sector ranks second among the five sub-sectors with the largest investment realization from January to September 2025. This sector contributed Rp. 163.3 Trillion, representing 11.4 percent of the total investment realization, confirming its continually increasing contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) over the last three years.

During the inauguration ceremony, Satoru Kimura, President Director of PT Nissho Solution Indonesia, stated “The inauguration of this Phase 2 Warehouse is our proactive response to the surging volume of demand from our core automotive clients. With this additional facility, we aim to enhance supply chain efficiency and solidify our position as a trusted logistics partner in West Java”.

Growth in the warehousing sector is supported by national economic stability and the strong performance of related sectors, such as Consumer Goods and Automotive. Nissho Solution has experienced this positive impact, driven by its clientele primarily operating in the automotive industry, including major companies like Daihatsu, Isuzu, and Toyota – many of which are also located within the Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang.

The development of the Phase 2 Warehouse underscores the long-term investment commitment of Nissho Unyu Co., Ltd., a prominent Japan-based logistics company and the 100 percent shareholder of Nissho Solution.

Since its establishment in 2007 in Sunter, Jakarta, Nissho Solution has demonstrated significant growth, notably expanding to Karawang in 2016.

In response to rising demand, the company took the strategic step this year to expand its warehouse capacity by 1 Hectare for storage and processing. The Nissho Solution warehouse has held the Bonded Logistics Center (BLC) status, granted by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, since 2017.

Nissho Solutions currently operates a fleet totaling 70 truck units and centralizes its cargo shipping activities through Tanjung Priok Seaport. In line with the increased warehouse capacity and regional infrastructure development, the company plans to explore the potential for shipping through Patimban Seaport in the near future. This step is part of Nissho Solution’s effort to achieve higher logistics efficiency and leverage strategic connectivity in West Java.

As the home of Nissho Solution, Suryacipta City of Industry, which is developed and managed by PT Suryacipta Swadaya (a subsidiary of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk/SSIA), welcomes this expansion.

During the event, Abednego Purnomo, Vice President Sales Marketing & Tenant Relations of Suryacipta, offered congratulations on the opening of Nissho Solution’s Phase 2 Warehouse. He affirmed, “As the developer and management of the industrial estate, we are continually striving to enhance services for our tenants, including Nissho Solution. These service improvements are designed to facilitate the flow of logistics to and from Suryacipta, thus ensuring logistics activities are more efficient and secure”.

Mr. Abednego Purnomo also highlighted future collaboration potential, “We hope that with the success achieved by Nissho Solution in Suryacipta, the company will consider relocating and expanding its business to our second industrial estate, Subang Smartpolitan. Subang Smartpolitan is strategically located just 35 Km from Suryacipta and offers close proximity to Patimban Seaport”.
