Mr. Johannes Suriadjaja, President Director of PT Suryacipta Swadaya and PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk, attended the meeting with President Joko Widodo and a number of Brunei Darussalam businessmen (a consortium of investors) at Assarraa Guest House, Bandar Seri Begawan, on Saturday night, January 13, 2024.
On the occasion, President Jokowi explained the investment potential and government plans in building the National Capital (IKN). The government will build IKN as a smart forest city with 70 percent of the area utilized as green areas and 80 percent of public transportation uses green energy.
President Jokowi conveyed the progress of core development which has reached 70 percent and is targeted for completion in mid-2024. In addition, currently there has also been a lot of investment that has entered and started infrastructure development which is marked by groundbreaking.
