PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (“Protelindo”), the largest telecommunications infrastructure company in Indonesia, and its subsidiary, PT iForte Solusi Infotek (“iForte”), have signed agreements with Subang Smartpolitan, a subsidiary of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), to build a tower and fiber optic network in integrated township “Subang Smartpolitan”.
Under these agreements, Protelindo will become a tower provider and iForte will become a fiber optic network provider for Subang Smartpolitan. With experiences and support by a reliable management and operational team, Protelindo and iForte will be able to provide reliable telecommunication infrastructure services to businesses and people who work and live in Subang Smartpolitan. As of today, Protelindo has nearly 30,000 towers and approximately 55,000 tenants; while iForte has a fiber optic network of over 120,000 km and provide connectivity services to more than 2,300 corporate clients and telecommunication operators in Indonesia.
Ferdinandus Aming Santoso, President Director of Protelindo and iForte, said that the companies are ready to provide the best services possible to all tenants in Subang Smartpolitan. “The cooperation with Subang Smartpolitan will broaden Protelindo’s and iForte’s infrastructure network. Subang Smartpolitan located in Rebana Metropolitan, a project initiated by the local government to improve the investment and economic environment in West Java and to create new job opportunities. This integrated township development with an area of 2,717 hectares is designed and developed with the concept of a “Smart and Sustainable”, where all facilities and infrastructure in the area is leveraged with IoT (internet-of-things) since the beginning.
